Virtual City Poker is another operator of the Prima Poker Network and has been since March 2003. The benefit of playing on the network is the continual strong flow of players, a result of many poker sites all feeding through to one big room. Because of the size of Prima, they also spread a good variety of games from very low limit (easy pickings!) to high stakes pot limit and no limit (great if you’ve got the bankroll or good to just watch).

Magic Hand
Each hand dealt at Virtual City Poker is assigned a number. From time to time Virtual City Poker management picks a hand number at random in advance and declares it a Magic Hand and establishes what the prizes will be.
When that magic hand is dealt, the winner of the hand wins the main prize and all other players in the game each get a second bonus amount. (If you sit out you don’t qualify!)
This promotion runs periodically – don’t miss the next Magic Hand!
GAME SELECTION
Texas Hold'em
Number of Players: 2 to 10
Texas Hold’em is the fastest, and certainly the most popular, game in card rooms today.
Omaha Poker
Number of Players: 2 to 10
Omaha Poker is similar to Texas Hold’em, but there are some crucial differences. Players must create the best five-card hand combination from a total of nine cards. The nine cards are made up of four pocket cards and five community cards. This results in higher hand combinations. Further, players must use 2 cards from the pocket and 3 cards from the board (community cards) to make a hand.
7-Card Stud Poker
Number of Players: 2 to 8
Seven Card Stud is the most popular of the stud games, both for the high stakes nature of the game and the impact that careful thought can have on your odds. Seven Card Stud has five rounds of betting, with the maximum bet doubling on either the second or third round of betting. Because so many of the cards are exposed on the table, you can make good choices about how likely it is that a winning hand is going to appear for you.
5-Card Stud Poker
Number of Players: 2 to 8
Five Card Stud is the original stud poker game. Its popularity was unsurpassed until the invention of Seven Card Stud early in the Twentieth Century. But it is still a very popular game, especially among the purists at heart.
1-on-1 Poker
Any game that can be played at 5-, 8- or 10-player tables can also be played 1-on-1 at Virtual City Poker. The rules and mechanics of the games are the same with the exception that, in games with blinds, the dealer posts the small blind and acts first.
